As Canada’s global bank, HSBC doesn’t only know the world, they know your world. We created a platform that spoke directly to Canadian businesses, in a way only they would truly understand. Using niche terms, sounds and visuals, we showed HSBC recognizes the challenges and opportunities of Canadian businesses. Basically, we connected with them by speaking their own language.
This project was rooted in deep understanding and research. We dove deep into our target industries and built familiarity with their unique terms, sound effects and more. We worked with a sound designer to create a custom track that connected real industry sounds with the HSBC sonic branding, or as we called the spot: the sounds of industry in motion.
